Shanthi is a veteran IT systems and security leader whose 25-plus years at Bosch Software have been marked by a relentless drive to build and harden technology governance. Early in her tenure, she designed and rolled out a standardized IT audit framework across Bosch’s global delivery centers—enabling consistent risk assessments, uncovering control gaps, and ensuring every major application and infrastructure component met rigorous internal standards. By partnering with cross-functional teams, she turned audit findings into actionable roadmaps, shortening remediation cycles by over 30% and embedding a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Building on her audit expertise, Shanthi championed automation initiatives that transformed labor-intensive processes into self-service workflows. She led the development of automated compliance dashboards and real-time monitoring scripts that halved manual testing efforts, accelerated quarterly reporting, and gave senior leadership clear, up-to-the-minute visibility into key security metrics. Her work not only reduced operational costs but also freed security analysts to focus on high-value threat-hunting and strategic risk management activities.
Perhaps Shanthi’s most lasting legacy is the establishment and maintenance of Bosch Software’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System. Under her stewardship, the organization achieved its first ISO 27001 certification and has since renewed it without a single non-conformity finding—testament to the mature policies, rigorous training programs, and incident-response playbooks she put in place. Through these efforts, Shanthi has fortified Bosch’s compliance posture, safeguarded sensitive customer data, and cemented the company’s reputation as a trusted technology partner.
